DONALD J. DESANTO
Attorney Donald J. DeSanto has practiced law for over 30 years and is licensed to practice in Ohio, California, and Florida. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Florida Bar Association and California Bar Association. His primary focus is in the area of family law. Don is also a member of the Mahoning County Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Magistrates. Don currently acts as Magistrate for the Mahoning County courts.
Don was a former magistrate for the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations for a period of eight years. In that capacity he heard and decided thousands of cases involving custody issues, child support, visitation and property issues. Attorney DeSanto believes that family law cases present issues which are perhaps the most traumatic to litigants. To adequately represent clients facing troubling issues and circumstances surrounding a divorce or a custody dispute requires a complete explanation of court procedures and a willingness to be readily available to answer or address the client's concerns. Attorney DeSanto believes this only can be accomplished by fully and completely investigating, preparing and litigating any disputed issue while always maintaining a focus on the client’s best interest.
